Questions about our art classes for children?

We welcome children ages 5–16 in our Cairo studio. Classes are organized by age and skill level to ensure each student learns at their own pace through drawing basics, craft sessions, and portfolio-building activities tailored to their development.

No experience necessary. Our drawing tutoring starts with fundamentals, whether your child is completely new to art or already has some practice. We assess each student individually and build from there.

Our drawing basics program covers line work, shading, perspective, proportion, and composition. Students practice on paper and digital media, building confidence and technical skills through guided lessons and hands-on exercises.

Portfolio-building typically develops over several months as students complete coursework in our craft workshops and drawing classes. The timeline depends on the child's starting level and commitment. We guide progress every step of the way.

Craft sessions include paints, markers, colored pencils, clay, collage materials, and specialty supplies. Most materials are provided by the studio. We'll let you know if your child should bring anything specific for a particular session.

We offer flexible scheduling—weekly or bi-weekly classes depending on your preference. Regular attendance builds skill faster, but we work with each family's schedule. Our Cairo studio staff can recommend a pace that suits your child's goals.

Yes. Private drawing tutoring sessions are available for students who want personalized instruction or faster progression. Mix one-on-one tutoring with group classes, or choose private lessons exclusively.

Absolutely. We organize periodic exhibitions at Active Art Matrocker studio in Cairo where students display their completed artworks and portfolios. These events celebrate progress and build confidence in young artists.
